Born in Vancouver, BC, Canada, I studied Psychology in University and found that the best learning came from life experience and doing the work I am so passionate about. I write about the process of change from first-hand experience of emerging from ‘the muck’ and I have helped many others on their journeys of learning to show up more fully for their lives.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and work with individuals, couples and families. I love traveling the world and teaching both professional and personal growth programs in Canada, China and Kenya. I work with a diversity of groups including therapists, educators, school programs, community groups, at-risk adolescents, therapeutic programs, non-profit organizations and corporate groups.
I am a member of the British Columbia Association for Clinical Counsellors, the International Family Therapy Association, the Virginia Satir Global Network and a clinical member of the Satir Institute of the Pacific. I am also the Director of Training for the Satir Institute of the Pacific and a senior trainer and faculty for the Banmen Satir China Management Centre. I work with individuals, couples, families and youth in private practice, and provide clinical supervision to other therapists. I am passionate about teaching Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy programs around the world and helping others to re-connect with the magic of who they really are!
